But it sure would have saved us both a lot of heartache if he'd made some changes. Deciding that his intent made all his decisions right was one of those things. Even if he WAS right, his disregard for my feelings was the impression that remained. I can understand wanting some levity, but joking about doing something just to piss her off can set off a bad chain reaction. And it sounds like you're very familiar with bad chain reactions.[/quote]
