If they are remotely "outstanding". Sounds like your kids will be fine no matter where they go. Elite universities can transform lives of those who aren't nearly as fortunate as your kids. How outstanding would they be if you didn't speak English at home, couldn't get a decent job, were worried about being deported, etc. The society I want to live in has compassion for those less fortunate.
