This is OP. I did try, but I couldn't break the habits that I'd started postpartum. That is 100 percent on me. My doctor told me to consider this a "hard reset" and warned me that I had to get my act together for this to be a permanent change. If I didn't, I'd just pile the weight back on.

(Hypothyroidism aside, of course. That's out of my control.)

"Getting [my] act together" means drinking enough water, sleeping 6+ hours a night, eating a balanced and healthy diet with appropriate quantities of food (i.e., no bingeing or starving), and exercising regularly.

I am a little worried that this will spiral back out of control once I stop, but I've been tracking pretty religiously with the Weight Watchers app and trying to minimize, though not eliminate (it's not reasonable), my non--apple and berry carbs. Hopefully, I can get into a groove before the next 10 weeks elapse.[/quote]
