Publicist PP, you're awesome!!! Love your jewelry suggestions. I'm shopping for myself, however, not a 20 something and I wear classic, not trendy. I typically just wear diamond studs and my engagement and wedding rings. I want a necklace for every day and have been looking at the VC&A but wondering if that is too young for me. Also want something nicer to wear to events. I'm 48. Thanks so much!
Publicist PP here. I definitely don't think the Van Cleef & Arpels necklace is too young for you. My mom wears hers every day and she's 60, and my grandmother who is in her 80's does as well. The Alhambra necklace is a classic and timeless piece - one that I don't think will ever go out of style. I see women in their 30's, 40's, 50's, 60's and up wearing the Alhambra pendant as their day to day necklace throughout the world, too. I spot it more often in London than anywhere else, where it's dressed up and down with ease. In terms of what you're looking for when you say something nicer to wear to events, what type of events are these? What do you usually wear to these events? Who attends the events? And what is your budget? If you can give me as much information as possible, I will do my best to make a few suggestions over the weekend.
