Great observation.  As much as I want Jen to find love again, I have to think- what kind of guy wants to be with her?  Not being snarky- but if she could play up the good parts of her life (her close relationship with family, her love of cooking and travel/adventure, still looks nice for almost 50), she could be a decent companion to a man looking for a partner for the emptying nest phase.  But if her shilling and her narcissism and relentless anger at the church etc continues, why on earth would a sane person want to share that life?  [/quote]

No snark but Jen has a lot of offer.  She's smart, very hard working, attractive, accomplished.  What sets her back, though, is her gross materialism, inauthenticity, and sanctimonious anger at people and church organizations she resents.  Which is ironic given her privilege within those circles and the fact that she literally built a church in her own image. [/quote]
