Sad to say but they're most likely looking for a body at this point. She has been missing almost a week come tomorrow.
I was thinking the same thing this morning. I also think that the ransom note is fake or a distraction. I don’t think they had/have her or she is already dead. I also don’t think it’s the brother-in-law. I just can’t imagine why someone would take her in the middle of the night without stealing anything or without an obvious motive.
If she answered the door, it was someone she knew. The sheriff said yesterday it was not forced entry so it implies it was someone who knew her. The police department can’t let the sis and BiL know they’re on to them in case they try to escape to Mexico. They have to play it close to the chest and not freak out any suspects. The key to this case is if there was forced entry or not. Savannah’s mother still had her faculties and no doubt would’ve called 911 if a stranger was knocking at her door in the middle of the night
Or a caretaker, cleaner or contractor that was in the house that left a patio door unlocked. Also those sliding patio doors can be jimmied without really breaking them. Everyone in Arizona has multiple glass sliding patio doors outside. That is my guess for the breakin. Also could have been a window that was left open since the weather was nice but lots of old people don’t like windows left open. My guess is inside job in that it was someone that had been to the house before. They unlocked a patio doors or window in a guest room. They unclipped the front camera knowing they would take her out the front door to their car. Small injury in struggle led to the blood. Person was not a Cna or anything like that or they would have taken the insulin and test strips. I’m not sure if she’s north of skyline or south but if north it would be challenging to totally avoid the intersection cameras, as most of the residential streets don’t really connect
