It really blows my mind that the person pushing for Aug/Sept kids to always play up on grade really believes what they are saying. It has to be a joke, right? And don't give me the "playing down a grade hurts recruiting!" College coaches evaluate kids based on their competition within a certain age range. If you're a standout in your age range, but in a different grade, you're going to be recruited.

Also, and I'll end with this - large, established, big name clubs will do what they've already said they're going to do - stick with the age range and allow playing up to those ready. Not because of their grade.
