But don't women do this too? try to diminish themselves/be self-deprecating in order to appear non-threatening/to be liked? And it seems to annoy the piss out of people when women do it as well- as they then get pegged as inauthentic- Jennifer Lawrence, Blake Lively, Gwyneth Paltrow, Jennifer Anniston. You can't win.

Plus in this guy's case if he were as bad as the examples listed, he'd already have his song/been dumped by Taylor by now. [/quote]
