The entire DC area is polluted in this case.  We have 2 major airports here.  DC flights go all over the place and many of them fly relatively low even far inland over suburban areas miles from the airport.  Never understood this. [/quote]

I’ve done it and it doesn’t compare. I’ll take Manhattan over Macarthur any day or night. Anyway, it’s not the noise that will get you before your time according to the most recent science on this topic. Good luck. [/quote]
