I think this is so insightful! So many parents don’t stop their children anymore when they start to break or deface things or grab at decorations to toy with. The permissiveness is inexplicable and rude. If the bride and groom could feel reasonably confident  that their venue wouldn’t be totally trashed by the kids they knew, they’d invite them.
