[google] https://azluminaria.org/2024/09/12/donald-trump-in-tucson-live-blog/[/google]
Oh boy, Trump is going to play to a sold out house and Harris going to have tons of empty seats!!! But Trump is going to Tucson Music Hall, seating for 2195. Harris going to Bojangles Colliseum in Charlotte, NC, seating for over 9600 And to Greensboro Colliseum in Greensboro, NC, seating for 22,000.
Yeah that’s a concert hall and it’s very wee. [twitter]https://x.com/vaughnhillyard/status/1834341289216934179?s=61&t=I7ZozTDGmPOsC7cmSRxwgA[/twitter] Harris today: Charlotte: [twitter]https://x.com/nidiacavazostv/status/1834319163797520711?s=61&t=I7ZozTDGmPOsC7cmSRxwgA[/twitter]
Harris last night in Greensboro: [twitter]https://x.com/redtraccoon/status/1834395780938858522?s=46&t=kf1qYlCXQnKgUhJWEIu2vg[/twitter]
The video shows less than 50% of the available seating capacity. Show me a 360 degree pan and I'll believe that she filled the facility. In the past, she had numerous parts of facilities curtained off in order not to show empty seats.
There is this:
Seriously stop engaging on this. Who cares if she fills arenas (except for Trump). Is she doing what she needs to do in order to persuade voters in swing states? Different politicians have different ways of doing that. It seems like her campaign is in high gear and working on persuasion and turnout. Which is the only thing we should be paying attention to.
DP. Agreed. Yet some folks here seem to want to continue measuring each others.... crowd sizes.... as proof that they're better. Trump has his rallies. Harris has hers. Neither is indicative of how enthusiastic independent voters are about voting for either candidate. For the most part, independent voters aren't at either candidate's rallies.
And just what kind of fruit loops go to political rallies in the 21st century? Voting for Harris over Trump is a no-brainer but going out of your way to show affection for any major party candidate these days tells me you are gullible, misguided, and not all that bright. Trump is an unhinged loser that has no business with any kind of role in public service ever again and the rest of the national level politicians are bought and paid for puppets that have to prioritize the interests of their wealthy donors ahead of the American people.
I don’t think Kamala Harris is a puppet. She’s not from a rich family, she chose to go to a HBCU, to be a prosecutor, to be attorney general. I see no signs that she’s been using public office to grift the way Trump does. Is she perfect? No. Is she miles better than Trump and am I excited about voting for yes? Yes. Enough so that I had my kids canvas with me in Pennsylvania for hours last weekend. I think they will have a much better shot at a better education system, a safer environment and better opportunities for their future under Kamala than Trump.
+1
