They are not regular Mormons, they are a very specific fundamentalist polygamist group within fundamentalist Mormonism. Her maternal uncle ordered the murder of her paternal grandpa and 25 other people due to a feud. Some of his wives helped him with the killings, and some of his wives were killed. It's a crazy story and the type of dysfunction she comes from. She is doing fairly well considering generations of this type of trauma.[/quote]
