They happen, even if rare, even if parents do everything right and some ahole commits a first offence rape. Yes it could be anyone and anywhere you might not expect. Look at the Catholic church.

I was a few months shy of my 10th birthday when I got my period (so, technically, 9 y.o.). I looked at least 3 years older than my age and was already starting to attract unwanted attention from adult men. This is one of those "there but for the grace of God...." instances for me. I am outraged that a child should be denied an abortion anywhere in this country. That's some backward extremist bull**** that puts us in the same camp as countries such as those below which have completely outlawed abortion with no exceptions:
