Ditto.  I grew up white and dirt poor and I'm thrilled to see this decision.  AA was discriminating against whites while legacy admissions discriminated against poor people.  That left poor white without a good way into college.  Woke whites only recognize black people who they assume are all poor and white people who they assume are all right.  So many pretend legacy "helps whites "[/quote]

Utter bullshit.  I also grew up white and dirt poor with parents who didn't get degrees, but had no problem getting into college and never felt one ounce of discrimination.  And no, I was no "legacy" at the state school I went to.  And the kids I met in college who were not white were every bit as good as I was, if not better.  And I have a kid who is currently a junior in college who likewise never felt one ounce of anti-white discrimination.[/quote]
