Dcs preparing for US admissions would find themselves in a rather different world.[/quote] Yes, that's what makes the process so much easier - as long as you've taken the necessary tests. All you have to do is have a strong academic record and be prepared to talk about your interest in the field you plan to pursue. (DC got to the interview round at Oxford and withdrew after getting into a US school ED.)[/quote]
