They have both been left and they are both inclined to leave and so it could go either way in terms of who eventually calls it. My guess is she will this time. And it again allows her to feel like she ended up taking control and was the one doing the leaving, versus the (unbearable) opposite. She's all about needing control and omnipotence when it gets hard/painful or she feels devalued, shamed. They both strike me as being pretty entrenched in sadomasochistic dynamics actually. Every masochist can also shift to being in a sadistic position, so it's hard to imagine a peaceful mutual vibe and sharing of power  with these two over time. I don't think they are that healthy.[/quote]
