One of the problems with the left pushing identity politics is that it's inherently divisive and thus is conducive to this sort of awfulness. You can't constantly promote race pride when it comes to every non-white group and then be surprised when something like this happens. Some people (especially those going through hard times) get angry when they are constantly told how privileged they are because of their skin color, and they lash out in horrible ways.
So people who want equality for all are to blame for neo Nazis. Got it.
DP here. Identity politics does not equal equality for all.
There is simply no way to stop this. When I was practicing law in New York, I wanted to become a judge. Every two years, the bar held a seminar on how to become a judge. I attended it and the head of the bar's judicial selection committee, an African American, was praising the work that his committee had done and introduced several of the judges that were now on the bench. They were all Black or Hispanic, except for one White woman, Judge Joan Lobis, the first state court judge I had ever argued in front of, whom the speaker said that he had selected because she was a practicing lesbian. A White man raised his hand and said that it sounded like "straight White men need not apply," and did he have any chance of becoming a judge. The speaker answered, "we don't want our judges looking like the portraits hanging in this room." It seems like a zero sum game.
Holy crap! And people wonder what fuels groups like the KKK?
What's percentage of American judges are male and white? Just curious.
