So if the GROOM wore jeans, as did most of the men, why are people dogging on Tyler’s outfit? To be fair I think it’s so tacky to wear jeans AND sneakers to a wedding no matter who you are…but when in Rome???
TM didn't wear jeans. He wore pants, a SWEATER vest in 70 degree weather, a BANDANA, tennis shoes. It's his standard 'costume' but he looks ridiculous---not spring wedding attire and most certainly not 'TX' wedding. He didn't match Jen's outfit, which is fine, he's not a relative to the couple but I don't get why he's wearing sunglasses, even at night in the dancing videos (he's in background).
Sweater vest >jeans. IMO all the dudes look like they are ready to bale hay and all the females look like they are ready for a royal ball. None of it is cohesive. So who really cares if Tyler is wearing his go to “look?” Even the officiant is wearing jeans? Seems a bit racist that people are SO UPSET (to the point of calling him ugly?!) with Tyler’s bandana & sneakers while the rest of the men are wearing cowboy hats and shitkickers….make it make sense.
Maybe you haven't been to a Texas wedding but it's very very very common for the groomsmen/grrom and/or guests to wear jeans instead of suit pants, ESPECIALLY for an outdoor spring wedding. If you simply google Texas wedding you'd find it. You can't fit Tyler's 'costume' into ANY wedding--he's wearing a bandana (why??????) and tennis shoes combined with a vest, TIE and dress pants. You're asking to "make jeans make sense" while allowing for TM to mix overly formal (tie/vest) with casual (tennies and bandana). He's the one who stands out. And he's wearing sunglasses AT NIGHT in pictures---it's a "too cool" signature look and he looks goofy and out of place. It's not racism.
Those jeans/hats are AS common for a Texas wedding as flip flops and linen tops are at a beach wedding. They looked great. The groom is a literal "ranch hand" and looks like bride works at a cowboy hat retailer. This is their style. Tyler could've worn the dress shirt, pants and tennis shoes and that would've been fine but he ONLY ever wears the tie/bandana/vest and it's just absurd given the weather, time of year and type of event.
