Brad told the "Shiloh wants to be called John" story back when she was roughly 2 years old. He told it on Oprah. She was going through a Peter Pan phase and wanted to be called John like one of the Darling children. He most likely told it as a cute two-year old story. He did not tell that story with the intent of saying "hey...my two year old knows she is transgendered and wants to go by her boy name".

In the years since, both Angelina and Brad have only referred to her as Shiloh. Never John.

Yes - she is a major tomboy and perhaps transgendered. We don't know for sure. But please do not call her John. It was supposed to be a funny kid story...that is all.[/quote]
