I completely agree. Santa is by far the most suspicious figure in this story. I think his wife or someone else was there with him to help. Everyone says he couldn't do it given his heart surgery. If he had help, he could've. The whole TODAY show appearance shortly after is beyond bizarre. He just shows up in the outside audience on a whim? So strange. I think the couple planned to kidnap JB. It didn't work. This would explain why the intruder brought no weapons. They knew they had to kill her when the plan wasn't working, so used what was available in that basement and sexually assaulted her. No normally loving parent is going to use a torture substance like a garrote on their child. For staging or otherwise. [/quote]
