ROBINSON
Robinson had all kids in by 8:06 today. Significant improvement in timing in one day.
The playbook is: 1. Pull out all the stops to speed it up the first week (unsustainable number of personnel manning the machines, wave everyone through, etc); 2. Send email declaring victory (use the word “smoothly”); 3. Go back to business as usual on Monday but hide the line inside the building; 4. Send email blaming the kids for being late, and stressing the importance of attendance. You’re still at step 1.
Chantilly HS is on step 2 as of today. We got the “implementation is a success” spiel in the newsletter. Of course DS reports everyone was waved through, no secondary screening took place, and it didn’t matter if it beeped or turned red.
