The serial-posting Langley parent is right.  No need to stir up the hornets next while Langley isn't overcrowded.  That can wait 5 years for the next review. Then 20171 will be first in line for a rezoning to Herndon schools.[/quote]

+1 that it’s not happening right now. If you have current MS/HS you’re probably safe. But I do feel that if growth continues at Tyson’s and if students need to be shifted to Langley from McLean or Marshall’s current areas, or if Langley’s enrollment grows on its own, that Forestville would be the ones on the chopping block eventually.

But there’s no need to do anything right this second because Langley isn’t overcrowded. The focus of the current changes seems to be more along the lines of reducing the split feeders and attendance islands. They haven’t done much with capacity, even where it’s badly needed. And those kids are going to have a long bus ride wherever they live, just like kids in Clifton and Fairfax Station and in parts of the Oakton boundary as well. [/quote]
