Read this and understand what a Trump second term means for the rule of law and normalcy in our country [twitter]https://twitter.com/bethreinhard/status/1721160860251439107[/twitter] Combine that with Zeints legislation proposal to expel all Palestinians from the US and the threat to ban abortions nationally and it is hard for me to understand the idea that people think both sides are the same.
Sorry, absolute and total perfection is required of Democrats. Meanwhile the squishy middle will pretend not to see the fascism in the GOP. FTR, I don’t think all is lost. I think that most of us on here right now in 2023 are political and thus most of the pps on here have an agenda. The agenda of many Republicans is to pose as disaffected Democrats. In reality I don’t think Israel is going to move the needle one way or the other as so many Republican (“Life long Democrats”) pps want it to. The GOP is going to shut down the government, the GOP is being open about their plans to demolish the United States as we know it (Project 2025) and to abolish legal abortion and birth control across the country. It’s not even the lesser of two evils. It’s progress, human rights, fixing problems or fascism, corruption, violence and bigotry.
