This is not a bold move. It is narcissistic reality TV that his base loves.

The fact that the wall was not an issue until this year (when GOP had the congress completely, the fact that he admitted that he lied during campaign and his base ate the shit anyway and the fact that emergency declaration will still not have the wall (because of being tied in the court for years) says that his base likes drama. Cult45 does not care about any solution, otherwise he would have taken the deal year ago when Schumer offered him 25B in exchange for DACA impasse resolution.
