Then you have documentation. You don't just tell the DMV you want to change your name without documents. Do you expect to collect Social Security? better have documents. Quit making up stories. I changed my name when I got married. You need birth certificate to get Social Security. You need a marriage certificate or other legal documentation to change your name there.[/quote]
