She IS a centrist in the rest of the civilized world. There's a whole spectrum of politics to the left of liberal democrats, but the US political system is stunted. It's why universal Healthcare is still being debated and talked about like a pipe dream, but is a fact of life in the rest of the Western world, or why we still don't have paid parental leave, or why our young people are still bankrupting themselves to get an education. Our quality of life lags so far behind every other developed nation because our two major parties do not serve the interests of working people but rather corporations and big donors. [/quote]
