Are you kidding me??? lol
It's weird this bothers you more than the fact we are now governed by a full blown autocrat. It's scary as crap how crazy and incompetent this man is.
He has sense enough to know that biological men should not be playing against girls. If you think that is okay, I prefer Trump's point.
You have seized on this so you don't have to pay attention to any other issues.
It is a perfect example of how stupid and out of touch Democrats are. A vast majority of Americans are opposed to men in women's sports because most people have common sense. Only the woke idiots are in favor of something so ridiculous and harmful to actual women and girls. Democrats clearly haven't learned a thing because they keep doubling down on it.
It's a matter of degree. I don't agree with transwomen in the Olympics but a kid on a rec team who is experiencing gender dysmorphia? Of course they should play. Republicans are extremist on this issue.
But where do you draw the line? Biological males shouldn’t be competing against females.
Here's some truth on transwomen athletes: https://www.kget.com/sports/ncaa-president-says-there-are-less-than-10-transgender-athletes-in-college-sports/
NP. The NCAA does not track the number of transgender athletes as a matter of written policy, so how exactly would the president know that information? You'll fall for any lie that serves your ideological ends, won't you?
One transgender on a girls' team can affect many, many biological girls: scholarships missed; bench sitting; games forfeited by girls that don't want to play against men. It almost destroyed one NCAA league out west. And, there will be more and more competing if it is allowed. Almost every day you read about a trans girl in high school sports winning first place over biological girls.
Really? What on earth are you reading?
PP is not wrong. There is a trans girl on MCPS track, completely blowing the females out of the water. Not sure why everyone keeps quoting the NCAA number of trans athletes. What about HS athletes? There was just another article about a transgirl track athlete winning state titles. I mean c'mon, can we stop waving this away and admit that this is common sense issue? Sports are, and always have been, separated by sex. It was only after the trans movement co-opted the word gender and made it completely different from sex that this became an issue. I am old enough to remember when the dictionary definition of "woman" was "adult female." If we need to call them male and female sports, which I find ridiculous that we would even have to, then let's do it, for the sake of clarity. Because sports are most certainly not separated by a "social construct."
But is it the place of the federal government to make these rules. Shouldn’t it be regulated by the state or the universities? A women doesn’t have the right to her own body in some states because MAGA said the states should decide, why is the fed sticking their nose in this?
