She won’t get my vote. She has a horrible track record as a prosecutor - keeping people after their sentences for cheap labor, throwing black men into jail for weed charges, and withholding evidence to free an innocent man. Not to mention her terrible VP track record, and word salad with no meaning, and that she has slept her way too to the top. As a woman, she is not the woman I want for president. Never.
Most prosecutors do this . People that have been in jail for a long time can’t get hired anymore, can’t find somewhere to live except loser low self esteem girlfriends (and you’d be surprised there are plenty ),and usually have to return to crime . Crime rates are bad for prosecutors and cops . They decide it’s best to just keep criminals past their time and you’ll be surprised how many are fine with that. They have no pay to pay bills or no one or nothing to come home to
Citation?
My citation is life . What job that you know hires a convicted felon? The sad part is when they’re innocent but still tainted by a criminal record. We have some of the highest incarceration and recidivism rates in the world because most Ex cons especially those without the family support return back to crime. I’m not sure what other countries do but I’m going to guess they have some sort of job training or some sort of programs to give ex cons paid careers after . We don’t have that . I think the worst part and this relates to Biden is he wanted lots of crack addicts in jail for years and years instead of rehab but his son ended up an addict as well and suddenly he has all this compassion for “opioid addicts” and to treat it as public health. Drug addicts do not belong in jail at all. They are not criminals. They are sick from addiction . Lots of mentally Ill ended up in jails too once Reagan shut down the psych wards in California. Sad situation but this is why Cali jails are super overpopulated (just like the state is)
