Inflation will come down on it's own without government intervention as the economy performs a natural cycle. The only thing government can do to impact inflation in a positive way is to avoid pumping an absurd amount of cash into the economy in a short period of time like they did in 2020 and 2021. We can thank the laziness and ignorance of the Trump and Biden Administrations for what happened in 2020 and 2021.[/quote]

The cash was to keep people employed and businesses open until there was a vaccine in place. The alternative would have been to simply have the businesses close completely and then then have everyone start over from scratch a year or 18 months later. That would have been catastrophic. So I am glad you weren't in charge.[/quote]
