Couldn't agree with this more, as someone who also grew up in a working class community.

If this virus hits badly in the community all at once, guess who is going [b]to be the hardest hit? The lowest income families.[/b] The school closures will suck for the poor, but it will suck even worse for the fragile members of society to let this reach crisis level all at once without doing all we can to slow the spread. That includes school closures.[/quote]

this is just an assumption you are making. you have no proof of that whatsoever. for example, we are well off immigrants but introverts with no family whatsoever. if DH and i both ended in a hospital our kids would go to foster care.[/quote]
