I agree. I don't understand why they need to ruin the entire planet. Thiel and co. have bunkers in NZ for the fall out.

Like don't you want to work hard, play hard, and go for a run. Eat a delicious meal. Hang with friends who aren't talking about their recent exploits of children.

Many of these people, especially the tech Bros are very broken people who don’t want any “friction“ in their lives. Don’t understand the need to take us all down with them, except maybe to fill that black hole where a heart once was.[/quote]

These tech bros have been revered by the broader culture for about 20 years. How often do we see this sentiment in the school and parenting threads? How awesome was Sam Bankman-Fried right up until the end? I saw SO many boy moms with spectrumy boys decreeing that only tech was real science and only their children did anything real academically and soon, so soon, their boys would be worshipped! The attitude is everywhere. It’s the air we breathe, the logic of a late stage of capitalism. It’s disgusting and reflects a lack of respect for all of humanity and life. None of this will change for many of these individuals legally or for the losers, and there are MANY here; who also see life that way.[/quote]
