Ella Devi is the self-proclaimed "Hot Girl for Zohran" who felt it was incumbent on her to call out Jennifer Hegseth for her budget-conscious clothing. She also calls herself a "socialist socialite" - that's a contradiction in terms. She's a tacky, wealthy, vapid "influencer" who thinks it's cool to call out other women who don't spend money as carelessly as she does. This was one of my favorite comments about her: “A socialist who fashion shames fellow women? Where to even start with a person this broken on the inside,” another said. “Perhaps public shame is a start. Shame on you, you classless, hypocritical succubus.”
There's a happy medium between spending money carelessly and buying clothing that was made by literal slave children in China you dullard.
Is killing red foxes for the coat fall into the happy median?
+100 Just watch, the "dullard" above will justify that as being "vintage."
I’m not that person but I have zero problem with people wearing vintage furs. I’m also starting to be less concerned about even new furs. There’s a huge fox overpopulation problem and a lot are getting rabies. A cull might not be the worst thing. The environmental damage from petroleum based coats is not nothing. I’m very against beaver hunting—they were incredibly over hunted in the 18th and 19th century and I don’t think those population levels will ever recover. And they do important work in riparian areas. But there’s a decent argument for limited regulated hunting of some other animals, since we’ve eliminated the apex predators (wolves etc) that used to keep those populations in check. A lot of people argue that the ban on seal hunting has led to such overpopulation that fish species are endangered and sharks are being attracted to areas they previously were not (eg the sharks off cape cod may be there because of the seal overpopulation making for a tasty high fat buffet). I have no idea who this woman is, but I’m not slamming her for her coat (which does look vintage).
