He's really really rich and all the people that have the power to do something are scared of harming theor future job prospects because none of them have f you money.

Just look at Paul Weiss et al.  They're one of the biggest most established law firms in the country.  None of them have food insecurity.  But they all suck at the teat and, when push comes to shove, being able to afford Sidwell and a yearly trip to Vail is more important to them than some PWT Florida kid or East European teenager.

The complicity of others including spouses in the cohort is very real. Debra Black remained married to Leon after Nan Goldin successfully got his fat ass booted from the board of MoMA. Brad Karp has plenty of Sidwell and Vail money. Enough for a family ten times his size. But he wanted to have his kid work on a Woody Allen film. He wanted access to everything. That's the thing.  It's freaking us.  We're the ones enabling this and we didn't really know it.  There must be over a dozen Paul Weiss junior partners on here.  AUSA's and DAS's a dime a dozen.  Journalists are more common that chicken pox.  Congressional staffers and D/RNC operatives.

We're the ones writing the press releases.  We're the ones crafting the non-denial denials.  We're the ones  making the redactions.

And we're doing it to be able to afford private school and a G-Wagon.  It's a sobering thought.[/quote]
