I'll believe it when I see it. It's obvious to even Republicans that the midterms will be catastrophic for the GOP. I wouldn't be surprised if they lose 60 House seats. The Post has an article today about how even Iowa is looking good for Democrats. I suspect it will be the same in other farm states. And yet Republicans remain the party of MAGA. They still cower in fear of Trump and Musk. I don't see any sign of that changing. Speaker Johnson is a pathetic Trump lackey and Thune isn't much better in the Senate. They will follow Trump and take the GOP over the cliff. It will take years for Republicans to recover from Trump. Of course Democrats do have an extraordinary ability to repel voters, so there's always that to consider. [/quote]
