Sweet Briar is beautiful.  That didn't keep it from nearly going under.

Sweet Briar has the prettiest campus I've ever seen, and I've seen a lot of them. I wish dd had been as impressed by that as I am, because they also have their own reasonably-priced hotel/conference center and I was planning on visiting... A lot.

Most colleges have *some* lovely stuff. I'm trying to think of exceptions:

NYU, Portland State, Skidmore, Drexel, RIT, MICA, Art Institute of Chicago, Fresno State.... [/quote]
