+1 -- Very accurate read on Gerry.  I'll confess that I've never watched the Bachelor/Bachelorette and have not watched this season with a lot of attentiveness (and what I have seen has been pretty cringe).  But I am 60 and so I've seen this mating dance among my peers before.  For people my age who enjoy close relationships with their adult kids and grandchildren, the question of how your kids will see your prospective partner is a huge factor -- even more so when a spouse has died.  Whatever Gerry's daughters think will weigh heavily in his final decision.      [/quote]
