equal rights for others does not mean fewer rights for you. it is not pie. -my favroite tshirt
But it actually is. There are even physics equations for this.
I'm sorry but just to clarify, you are you under the impression that there are physics equations that apply to an understanding of human rights?
Yes. we all live within the parameters of the science of the world and ourselves. The equations we make deal with the environment as well as human behavior and rights we deem appropriate in society. Laws of energy apply to human rights and behavior just like all other physical laws of the world do. There are entire fields of study that revolve around this. Here are some examples: https://academic.oup.com/mit-press-scholarship-online/book/19055/chapter-abstract/177463481?redirectedFrom=fulltext https://aeon.co/essays/what-can-a-thermodynamics-of-mind-say-about-how-to-thrive https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3825144/
Fortunately, we don't have any one person responsible for making all of the decisions for humanity. So the inability to properly multi-task isn't really an issue here.
My comment was in response to this one which said that somehow equal rights for others doesn't mean fewer rights for you. That is completely false based on the finite world and our finite bodies. We are pie. The world is pie. equal rights for others does not mean fewer rights for you. it is not pie. -my favroite tshirt
Nope. Equal rights for other does not mean fewer rights for you. Rights <> resources But it doesn't. We don't live in a vacuum. We affect each other. There is nothing someone can do that doesn't have an affecting vibration on this world. We were actually talking about equity and equity affects others greater than equality. FCPS definitely has equal rights already and no one is disputing keeping that going. You are the one though who keeps going back and forth about equity and equality as if they are the same.
