I just read the Daily Mail article. How did the father not get full custody from the outset? He clearly knew his wife was crazy.
My guess is that her father helped her with his legal connections. In Virginia it’s standard 50/50 custody and it’s very difficult to get anything more unless you can prove extreme circumstances or if one parent agrees to have less. Sounds like Eleanor would not agree to less, also sounds like Joel did try to prove extreme circumstances but it wasn’t enough to convince the judge as they still split custody. Hence since her father has been involved several times in Eleanor’s legal issues, only makes sense he’s be involved here as well to help Eleanor against Joel. I also notice the article stating that when she was trying to get her 2019 unlawful dressing conviction appealed, her father represented her and used a Hunton email address, which is strange because her father doesn’t work at Hunton and never did. In the past he claimed the firm had a nepotism clause so he wasn’t allowed to work there so he started his own practice. So how did he get a Hunton email address and why would he use it in this case rather than his regular business email? Why would be basically fake working at Hunton? I also noticed that she had to do community service and where she did it. That church is pretty posh in Richmond and has a preschool, it’s across the street from St. Catherine’s and where her parents used to live. Her parents had to have pulled the strings to get her to do community service there.
I wondered why he and the brother didn’t work there? Is this generation of the family really as rich and prominent as the previous generations? Her FB really doesn’t come across as belonging to a top of society socialite such as how she is being depicted.
