But it is far likelier to be because she had actually been experiencing PPD previously, and out of (delusional!) belief that PPD alone would result in her being separated from her kids, used her professional knowledge to cover it up. Covering up PPD symptoms in this way is actually quite common even when the person never becomes psychotic. [/quote]
