Tonight I say Fk her!! Like she says Karma is a relaxing thought. Karma is going to hunt you down Taylor.
Taylor isn’t personally overseeing ticketmaster presale. Ticketmaster is bad. Monopolies are bad and should be broken up.
Please she is in on this racket
+100000. People are crazy if they think Taylor actually cares. It's all about making money. If she really cared she would have made sure Ticketmaster was the only place you could re-sale.
I agree she probably doesn't care but how does she make money from this? If I spent $500 on nosebleeds from a reseller, I'd probably end up spending less on merchandise at the concert then.
Ticketmaster is doing variable pricing and she gets a cut
This makes no sense. First there's no evidence of variable pricing. Second, PP's point is Taylor doesn't make more money if people scalp tix.
My coworkers and I were all trying for tickets in different locations yesterday. I wanted Nashville, one needed Philly, one was in for Pittsburgh, and one was Inglewood (I think, but that sale got pushed until later in the day). Anyway, as one progressed through the line, we'd see ticket prices. The prices were NOT the same at all venues at all. Philly had the highest prices. I got two tickets in Nashville in section 235 (midfield) for $212 each. My coworker paid almost $300something each for section 207 which is very far away and in the curve of the stadium. Our coworker who got Pittsburgh tickets paid only $145 each for her 200-level tickets. She also was able to get in at around 10:45 am and was the first of everyone to buy them. Interestingly enough, the coworker who bought the Pittsburgh tickets did not have any kind of boosted status like the rest of us did. I got a boost because I've bought lots of merch and albums off Taylor's website for my DDs. Same with the coworker trying for Philly. I'm not sure what the coworker trying to get SoFi tickets got.
I go to a lot of concerts and tickets prices always fluctuate based on location. This isn't unique to this show. I live in Chicago and I go to a lot of shows in Milwaukee because the tickets are cheaper than Chicago.
