Yes.  My point was that nobody makes these demands about amazon, GS, or the NBA.  NBA guy made the exact opposite point.  Not difficult to understand, if you just try a little.  But there are many other reasons the NBA argument is stupid.  For example, the stat is based on the players, and yet the NBA has almost 3X as many total employees as the players, and NBA teams themselves and arenas have many more times than that.  It's a stupid example using a stupid sample by stupid people.

And BTW I am certain Amazon (1,468,000) and GS (43,900) ensure they don't have racial bias in hiring using statistics and data.

nobody makes demands that companies make sure that they aren't being biased?  No, because there are laws against racial discrimination in hiring.  No one expects companies, or the NBA, to reflect the general population, but apparently, we must make sure that higher ed does.[/quote]
