I don't think that moment was supposed to be a dig on Kate's weight. I think it was because no one was letting Rebecca do anything to help with the kids and she was getting frustrated. This was a moment where she was able to show that she could put the pieces together and still save the day despite her diagnosis. [/quote]

Definitely. But for some posters, everything comes back to Kate's weight, which is weird because not everything comes back to The One Thing about Keven or The One Thing about Randall[/quote]

The point of this was to show Rebecca's need/ability to contribute and to show (with the hospital forms) that having a good period doesn't mean the Alzheimer's has disappeared.

Toby runs up hills in San Francisco. Why couldn't he have lapped Rebecca on the way to the park? She probably had a couple of minute's lead on him, max (I am assuming Kate went to tell everyone that Rebecca was going to the park and she and Toby followed, hence the blood on Toby's shirt).

I don’t think Toby had blood on his shirt, it’s just an ugly shirt with two big patches of yellow. Kate and Toby weren’t at the hospital until they put the stitches in, otherwise Rebecca would not have been filling out the paperwork.[/quote]
