Well it is very likely Prep will be the #1. It is highly unlikely they will lose to St. Albans and at worst they go 1-1 against the Saints, but a split is a possibility. Prep is 3-1 vs Landon and Bullis with the Saints to play. Bullis is 2-2 vs Saints and Prep with Landon left to play. Landon is 1-3 vs Saints and Prep with Bullis left. The Saints are 2-2 vs Landon and Bullis. Are there tie breakers for seeding? I will not be surprised if Saints go 1-1 vs Prep. I will not be surprised if Bullis goes 1-1 vs Landon.
Landon never played EHS because of covid so seeding could be complicated. If EHS or StA don't win any games against the big four, then I think big four head to head matchups should determine seeding. Prep has head to head over Bullis (goal differential in two games), Landon, and looks good for a #1 seed. If they sweep or have differential over SSSA, they'll have that locked up. Bullis has head to head over SSSA (goal differential over two games), is behind head to head to Prep, with Landon this week. Landon has head to head over SSSA (goal differential over two games) with Bullis this week. SSSA is behind head to head to Landon and Bullis with Prep still to play. A win over Prep will come into effect depending on Landon/Bullis result. I think if Landon and Bullis split, Bullis will hold #2 with the Prep win, then #3 would depend on SSSA vs Prep series. If SSSA steals one, they have less big four losses than Landon even having lost that series by goal differential. Bullis sweeps, Landon #4 seed almost for certain. Landon sweeps, then they would have head to head over Bullis and SSSA and probably have the #2, unless SSSA sweeps Prep. Perhaps the shorter story is that we likely get to see these teams beat on each other a lot more this month on the way to an eventual IAC champion. It may be a shortened season, but it's going to be an exciting one.
