Seems like you're trying to hide something.
Definitely need a name committee.
Name should be loser thats always looking for a way to play down against youger players.
The August hater trying to get kids to play up when they aren't ready is selfish and self centered for trying to make his Sept girl only play against younger players but calling people losers is uncalled for.
I'm suggesting 13 maybe a 14 month window. You want a 36 month window with players literally 2 years older than eveyone else they're playing against. Ridiculious to even talk about "self centered" Also being labeled a loser would bother you it it didnt apply.
Who wants this 36 month window your talking about? I haven't seen any posts asking for this.
Nobody has seen it. Age guy is trying to start a rumor that there will be GY showcases in the future. GY = 36 month eligibility windows because schools allow kids to be held back twice.
Literally no one on here has said we should allow a 3 year window. Allowing Juniors and seniors from the group designated U18 to play with their grade is not 36 months. Youth soccer will not have u18 because it’s not enough players in u19 by themselves.
Think about it. If a kid was born 8/1 and the school cutoff was 8/1 and was held back twice that would make them 3 years older than a kid born on 7/31 3 years older = a 36 month eligibility window if you allow holdbacks to play at club events.
Your math ain’t mathing… take U18 age group and put the juniors with U17 find me a 36 month age window. At the most it would be 23 months.
Ok whatever you want to think. A 23 month eligibility window is ridiculous. Just do SY with Aug birthdays playing on their correct grade in school team and you get a 13 month window and all players during games are the same grade. For the guy that used to talk about rae all the time the irony is stunning. I guess selective rae it is as long as you can play your kid against 23 month younger players.
Not true. SY for everyone except GY for August wouldn't solve more than a tiny fraction of the kids off grade. The effort and costs isn't worth it because their really aren't any benefits. Their are so many May, June, July, September, October's off grade that your still looking at 2-3 players per team not in the same grade as the others. Strict SY worked before, it will work again. If the leagues want to adjust things they will address them in 2-3 years not right away.
Theres no such thing as "Strict SY" this is a term you made up. Also in SY because leagues allow playing up the groups are "8/1 and younger" with each year starting a new grouping.
It's strict around the DMV. They limit playing up to the very, very best. And always have. You choice to play up an age group for a carpool.
Your feedback on SY which hasn't been implemented yet means nothing.
