I'm suggesting 13 maybe a 14 month window. You want a 36 month window with players literally 2 years older than eveyone else they're playing against.

Literally no one on here has said we should allow a 3 year window. Allowing Juniors and seniors from the group designated U18 to play with their grade is not 36 months.

If a kid was born 8/1 and the school cutoff was 8/1 and was held back twice that would make them 3 years older than a kid born on 7/31

Ok whatever you want to think. A 23 month eligibility window is ridiculous.

Just do SY with Aug birthdays playing on their correct grade in school team and you get a 13 month window and all players during games are the same grade.

SY for everyone except GY for August wouldn't solve more than a tiny fraction of the kids off grade. The effort and costs isn't worth it because their really aren't any benefits. Their are so many May, June, July, September, October's off grade that your still looking at 2-3 players per team not in the same grade as the others.
