Sure, sure.  You're wonderfully naive into thinking the US can order Ukraine to stop.  It's very Russian thinking that the US is the master of other countries.  And you also seem to think that after Russia's military used thermobaric weapons on civilian buildings, rape, murder, kidnap children, they get a free pass without consequences?  Heh.  How wonderfully Russian your mind works!  I think Ukraine is only playing nice because the wallet is open.  Mark my words, once the umbilical cord is cut, there will be no reason on Earth for Ukraine to play nice anymore.  What Russians did to them, they will do to Russians.  Never underestimate the stubborness or vindictiveness of a Slav.

You're also naive in that Russia is even in a position to "attack the world".  Maybe with nukes, but otherwise I don't believe they are.  In fact, I believe they're putting on a good show for everyone.  But the Kremlins fragility is out in the open now.  You seem to think Putin can maintain control?  I think he can.. for 10 months.

I think it's funny how paranoid you are (the bit about 'why the West desperately wants to get rid of him'). So let me do this for you.  I'll tell you what I'd tell a SVR agent who thinks the West is out to get them.  It's very similar to what I told someone in the Former Yugoslavia when they were spouting nonsense about US motives there.  Here it goes.

Do you really think the average American gives a cr*p about Russia?  Do you really think the average American knows Putin is the President of Russia or where it is on the map?

My guess is that's when the SVR will feel it the most.  It's probably a different kind of fear than what they're used to.  Instead of violence and hatred, it's one of isolation and emptiness.  That warm blanket of absolute confidence will be gone soon and it has nothing to do with Putin-this or Putin-that. What I'm saying is after the Presidential Debate, every SVR agent worldwide realized they will be blamed for the loss of the US Presidential Elections.  Even Russian national TV knows it.

Short term, they'll delude themselves into whatever frothy hate they can muster.  It won't last, because something is missing - an enemy.  It will take a while for them to realize that the little bubble of theirs popped.  That void is what's left once they realize the Truth from all the lies spoonfed to them growing up immersed in Soviet dogma.

So what will happen next?  Same as what's happening now with Russian military units in Ukraine.  People just go missing.  A person here.  A person there.
