Is being mentioned in the files a bad thing? Tim Kaine is being discussed by Epstein and Obama White House counsel . Nobody could possibly know what this refers to https://www.justice.gov/epstein/files/DataSet%2011/EFTA02349015.pdf
The most obvious reading is that JE is asking KR if she backed Kaine as the VP pick for 2016 and she is saying no. JE is a collector of people of influence — with Kaine being picked as VP for what then appeared to be the front runner, he is trying to figure out whether he has an “in” with Kaine. The fact that he’s asking speaks well of Kaine.
(DP). That’s my reading, too. KR seems like a POS, I don’t believe you could be that close to Epstein and not know who he was. Disappointing.
Agree on KR. I think some of these people are addicted to power and connections — JE preyed on this. It’s amazing to me how deep he was in all these political machinations. I had thought he was just a gross rich playboy with an island who attracted others with his money and the party lifestyle, like the financial version of Diddy. But people who are smart and connected are asking for his advice or connections — I had no idea he was so deeply embedded into the power structures on both sides of the aisle. I’ve lived in the DC world for 30 years and I just feel super naive.
