The victim's family would have access to the police report. Because there are minors involved, the general public would not have access to this report unless they file a petition to access the records. 
Unfortunately there are a few posters on this thread who perhaps believe they are helping the victim's family by denouncing the school and Russell, but do not seem to realize that they come off as unhinged and irrational. Sadly, they are doing the opposite of helping.
The victim's family has retained counsel, according to their letter, and we can only assume that counsel is providing guidance and information to the family about what they have access to legally. There is a lot of misinformation about the legal process on this thread. I wish the family well.[/quote]

The police don’t need to release the police report in order to publicly announce the results of their investigation though. Doing that would tamp down on a lot of the conspiracy theories here I’d assume. [/quote]
