My question is are those coaches really as bad as people are saying?
What? That's crazy. No one is sending out offers for the 26/27 yet unless your kid is the next Mia Hamm.
That's what you think, but there are many kids across many clubs that already know exactly where they'll be playing next year.... Realistically if you're top 3 or 4 player on a team, you don't think the club has already extended an offer. It's not as if a team is going to be able to bring in say 16 kids better than your current top 3 or 4 players.
Sure but you're telling me some kid who has been playing at GFR Is now considered one of the top 3 or 4 kids on VRSC's 09 team? Find that very hard to believe having a fairly decent knowledge of both of those teams.
Yep, and you haven’t even seen the best ones yet from GFR.
Actually, I have. The best ones left years ago. A couple good players still there but they won’t beat out the current players for starting positions on a team with 22 on the roster already
. They will take 5-6 new players and expect those not getting playing time to quit.
Those who are not 100% committed have already been spoken to. This, together with age a group change, will allow for openings. Very good point with the age group change; that shifts a lot of players. I always see clubs make room for new money and talent. It’s just hard for parents who have players that are on the bubble to handle this time of year.

If your player thinks he/she is on the bubble for next season the player should be looking at all options right now.
Does this mean ED and CC who are “on the bubble” of skill as a coach need to also look for another job?
Them dudes who starve to death if it weren’t for “soccer”
This is what failure in life looks like. Do they get a trophy just for showing up? If they applied the same standard they apply to players, they both get let go mid season. Can the club bring in a new coach for the all the HA programs and make them assistants or move to a rec program?
I don't think many people consider failing coaching a team to 1st place and being the Director of the Girls side in 2nd place overall in GA. If that is failure, what do you call NVA and Loudoun? Maybe an extra adjective in front of failure? What did you expect from the guy, winning a National Championship in his first two years at a Club that was an NCSL bottom dweller before he came? I dunno. Just calling a spade a spade. When I think of failure, I tend to think teams coached are bottom of table and club overall is at the bottom too. I'm normal though and the posts on this thread does not make me think their are many rational folks here.
Cute. He has played the mediocre opponents in Fall deliberately to get that trip to CA on VRSC parents’ dime. The team he’s coaching wasn’t bottom dweller at NCSL. He literally brought as much as he humanely could from FCV. That included coaches to appeal his ego. However, not much is expected from someone who thinks a bar is a normal thing to have around minors and applauds the former owner’s affairs.
Mediocre is not playing the #1 Club in Mid Atlantic twice. If he did actually want a watered down schedule, he would have asked to play NVA and Loudoun twice instead of Charlotte Independence and CDA. Heck, even Skyline 2x for that matter who is doing better overall. What is cute is your conspiracy theories! CC having Oktoberfest during games and practices, the former owner, who was fired, having open casting calls with wives, ED channeling his inner Cheech and Chong, coaches talking to kids like Bobby Knight on a bad day. Coaches that hate the USA as much as the Ayatollah. Oh, and the facility is really Senor Frog's of Loudoun...with soccer fields. This is what you have amounted to.
The league sets the schedule not the coaches but you already knew that. The club qualified for champions cup (FL) based on last year’s performance but you already knew that too. You think repeating your nonsense here will make a difference but it clearly hasn’t based on the club’s growing number of teams. Keep pissing into the ocean, my friend. It’s having no effect. As all the people you hate are getting the last laugh because you waste so much of your time thinking and posting about them. Who’s winning here?
