Maybe this is not widely known, but what hit his ear was not the actual bullet, but apparently a fragment of a bullet. That's why his ear only had a small nick. Ears bleed profusely even when nicked, which is why he did bleed on the photo. But since it was a very small cut, it healed rapidly and did not leave a visible scar that an official photog could catch on camera. There is probably a little mark if you get really close.

Right but he's full of lies. I posted the above to try and dispel any myths that he wasn't hit at all. He was. It just a teeny weeny boo-boo. The danger wasn't the injury, but how close the shooter came to taking out a sitting President. THAT is something we should all be concerned about, regardless of whether we like that particular sitting President. Same for Charlie Kirk. We can't have randos shooting at politicians and political big mouths all the damn time. It's messy.
