“Gun laws don’t work” isn’t “conclusory argument.”  It’s an observation of demonstrated fact. And continued pursuit of the same tired, failed “solutions” takes attention and resources away from dealing with whatever has happened in US society to make some people think killing their neighbors is a desirable goal. It works in every other country in the world.  But there are many selfish people in America who love their guns more than they love their childrens' safety.
